AUTOCARES COSTA AZUL, S.A. develops its activity in the travellers transport by road field.

It was founded in 1941 and, since then, it has become a "Sociedad Anónima" and has been licensed for regular public transport by road by "El Ministerio de Fomento" y "La Comunidad Valenciana", being some of it routes the following:

Autocares Costa Azul, S.A. besides the regular public transport, carries out a great amount of discretional services in the local, regional, national and international-wide scale.

The school transport is an important part of its activity, both public and private schools dependent on the Town Councils and on "La Consejería de Educación y Ciencias de la Comunidad Valenciana".

Autocares Costa Azul is a part of the group of enterprises named:GRUPO COSTA AZUL.

Grupo Costa Azul is also formed by: AUTOBUSES URBANOS DE ELCHE, S.A. y TRANSPORTE PERIFÉRICOS DE TORREVIEJA, S.L. (T P T).

GRUPO COSTA AZUL , has a fleet of 150 buses and 320 drivers. Our main bases are located in Elche, Orihuela, Alicante, Torrevieja, Cartagena and Murcia.

The daily operation and our success are due to our staff: drivers, administrative officers, intermediate commands, and other qualified personnel, who, together with a continuous fleet renovation and maintenance, give confidence to millions of people and enterprises in the field of turism: tour-operators, travel agencies, and organisations of a great world prestige such as Rider Cup LTD.

Since November of 1.999 Autocares Costa Azul, S.A. has been certified according to the Spanish Standard UNE-EN-ISO 9001-2000 with certificate number 563/ER/11/99.
